The idea

A daytrip, done
properly.

An EDT isn’t a weekend break. It’s a single, ambitious day: fly out in the morning, spend real hours in a European city, and fly home the same evening.

01

Leave before the city wakes

A direct morning flight from your UK airport, usually before nine, arriving during lunch time at the latest.

02

Have an actual day

Eight to sixteen genuine hours on the ground — enough to wander, eat well, and see a place properly rather than rush a stopover.

03

Home the same night

A direct evening flight lands you back in the UK on the same calendar day. No hotel, no overnight bag.

What earns a trip its place

Our rules are strict on purpose

Direct flights only

No connections. A scheduled flight time of roughly 2h30 or less, each way.

6–16 hours in the city

Enough for a real day. Below five hours, a trip is dropped entirely.

Home the same calendar day

The return must land you back in the UK that same night.

Verified total return price

We show the live return fare, last checked against the airline — never an estimate.

The honesty

Real flights. Current checks. No invented fares.

Flight prices and availability can change by the minute.

Every trip we show is a snapshot of what we were able to verify at the time it was checked. We show when it was last checked, but a fare may change, disappear or become unavailable before you book.

We never invent prices, schedules or availability, fill gaps with estimates, or present an unverified flight combination as confirmed.

Prices shown may also change due to airline pricing, taxes, fees, baggage, seats, currency changes or other booking conditions.

Exdatrips are not a booking agent, a travel company or similar. Exdatrips does not control airline schedules, fares, availability, cancellations or booking systems. We cannot guarantee that a displayed flight or price will still be available, or that a flight will operate as shown.

Always check the final price, availability and booking conditions with the airline or booking provider before purchasing.

We aim to always show what is genuinely verifiable, but we can’t make any guarantees.

Which airlines? Right now we verify fares directly from Ryanair, whose live prices we can confirm in real time. Others don’t currently expose fares we can verify from our end, so we don’t show them rather than guess — they’ll appear automatically once a verifiable source is available.
