1. What Exdatrips is

Exdatrips is an independent flight-discovery and travel-information service.

Our purpose is to help users discover potential same-day trips to European destinations by identifying flight combinations that may allow a traveller to leave in the morning, spend time at a destination and return on the same calendar day.

We are not an airline. We are not a flight operator. We are not a travel agent. We are not a tour operator. We are not a booking portal or airline ticket seller.

We do not issue airline tickets, operate flights, control airline inventory or determine airline prices.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, no flight booking, ticket, transport contract or travel contract is made with Exdatrips.

When you click through to an airline, booking provider or other third-party website, any resulting booking is made directly with that third party and is subject to its own terms, conditions and policies.

2. Our service

Exdatrips provides information and discovery tools based on flight and travel information obtained from third-party sources and other available data.

We attempt to identify useful and realistic Extreme Daytrip opportunities, but the service is informational only.

A trip displayed on our website means that the relevant flight combination was identified and, where stated, verified by us at a particular point in time. It does not mean that the trip is guaranteed to remain available, it does not constitute a reservation, it does not guarantee that you can purchase the flight at the displayed price, and it does not guarantee that the flight will operate.

3. Prices are not guaranteed

Flight prices are dynamic and can change at any time, sometimes within seconds or minutes.

The price displayed on Exdatrips is the price or fare information we were able to identify at the time of our latest check. It may change before you click through, during the booking process or before payment, and may no longer be available when you attempt to book. The final price is determined by the airline or booking provider at the time of booking.

Additional costs may apply depending on the fare and booking selected, including but not limited to:

• Baggage
• Seat selection
• Priority services
• Meals
• Payment charges
• Optional services
• Fare differences
• Currency conversion
• Other airline or booking-provider charges

Where information about additional costs is available to us, we aim to present it accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that third-party pricing information remains current. You should always check the final price and fare conditions on the airline or booking provider's website before purchasing.

4. Availability is not guaranteed

Flight availability can change without notice. A flight may disappear, sell out, become unavailable at a particular fare or be removed from sale after we have checked it.

Accordingly, “verified” means that we were able to verify the relevant information at the time stated. It does not mean that availability is guaranteed until you complete a booking.

The timestamp shown with a trip is therefore important: the longer ago a flight was checked, the greater the possibility that the information has changed.

5. Flight schedules can change

Airlines may change departure times, arrival times, flight numbers, operating dates, aircraft, airports, routes, frequencies and seasonal schedules. Flights may also be delayed, cancelled, diverted or otherwise disrupted.

Exdatrips does not control these matters and cannot guarantee that a flight will operate according to the schedule displayed on our website. You are responsible for checking the latest flight information with the airline before travelling.

6. “Extreme Daytrip” does not mean guaranteed same-day travel

Our system attempts to identify itineraries that meet our Extreme Daytrip criteria. These may include requirements concerning morning departure, arrival, sufficient time at the destination, same-day evening return, direct flights, price, airport accessibility and other practical considerations.

These criteria are our methodology and are not a guarantee of the practicality or success of your journey. Airport security, check-in requirements, immigration, queues, transfers, delays, cancellations and other circumstances may affect whether you can complete the journey as planned.

7. Destination time

Any “time at destination” shown on Exdatrips is a calculation based on available flight times and applicable local time zones. It represents the interval between the scheduled arrival at the destination airport and the scheduled departure from that destination airport.

It is not a guarantee of the amount of time you will actually spend in the city. Airport location, immigration, baggage collection, security, transport to and from the city and recommended airport arrival times may substantially reduce your practical sightseeing time. A destination airport may also be located some distance from the city it serves.

8. Flight times and time zones

Flight times shown are based on available schedule information. Local times may differ between countries. We attempt to account for applicable time zones and daylight-saving changes when calculating an EDT.

However, you remain responsible for checking the actual local departure and arrival times displayed by the airline. Never rely solely on a calculated destination-time figure when making a booking decision.

9. Data sources and verification

We may use multiple sources to discover and verify flight information, including airline websites, airline APIs, authorised airline feeds, flight-data providers, flight-search engines, aggregator APIs and other permitted sources. Different sources may provide different information, and where possible we prioritise authoritative airline information for final verification.

Our source information and verification status are intended to make our methodology more transparent, but they do not constitute a guarantee of accuracy or continued availability. Third-party information may be incomplete, delayed, incorrect or outdated.

10. No guarantee of accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful, accurate and current information. However, we do not guarantee that all information displayed on the website will always be accurate, complete, current, error-free, available, suitable for your circumstances, or consistent with information subsequently provided by an airline or booking provider.

This includes, without limitation, prices, availability, flight times, flight numbers, routes, airports, airlines, baggage information, fare conditions, destination times, transfer times, operating dates, flight status, travel restrictions and other travel information.

Where we identify an error, we may correct, remove or update the relevant information without notice.

11. No responsibility for airline operations

Exdatrips has no control over airlines or airports. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, missed flights, schedule changes, route changes, diversions, overbooking, denied boarding, strikes, industrial action, airport closures, weather disruption, air-traffic restrictions, security or immigration delays, lost or damaged baggage, airline insolvency or failures, or changes in airline policies, fares, availability or flight times.

Any claim concerning the operation, cancellation, delay, refund, rebooking or performance of a flight should be directed to the airline or booking provider with which you booked.

12. No responsibility for missed flights

Exdatrips does not guarantee that an itinerary will provide sufficient time to leave the aircraft, clear immigration, collect baggage, reach the city, return to the airport, pass security, complete check-in or board the return flight.

You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for all airport and travel procedures. A trip that appears technically possible on our website may not be suitable for every traveller.

13. You are responsible for your travel decision

You are responsible for deciding whether an Extreme Daytrip is appropriate for you. Before booking, you should independently verify flight times, availability, final price, airport locations, baggage rules, check-in requirements, passport and visa requirements, entry requirements, travel documentation, airport transfer times, local transport, travel disruption and any other requirements relevant to your journey.

You should also consider whether the itinerary provides an appropriate safety margin.

14. Passports, visas and entry requirements

Exdatrips does not provide immigration or legal advice. Entry requirements can vary depending on nationality, residency, passport, destination, travel history and other circumstances.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct passport, visa, permit, authorisation and other documentation required for your journey, and to check official government and immigration sources before travelling. We are not responsible if you are refused boarding or entry because you do not meet applicable requirements.

15. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend considering appropriate travel insurance for your circumstances. Travel insurance may provide protection against certain events including cancellation, disruption, medical expenses or other losses, depending on the policy.

Exdatrips does not provide travel insurance and does not guarantee that any particular loss will be covered by insurance.

16. Third-party websites

Our website may contain links to airlines, booking providers, travel websites and other third-party services. These websites are independent from Exdatrips and we do not control their content, prices, availability, security, booking systems, terms, privacy policies, services or performance.

A link to a third-party website does not mean that Exdatrips endorses or guarantees that website or its services. Once you leave Exdatrips, your interaction with that third party is governed by its own terms and policies.

17. Bookings are not made with Exdatrips

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Exdatrips does not process flight bookings or payments. If you purchase a flight after clicking a link from our website, your contract for that flight is with the relevant airline, travel agent or booking provider.

Exdatrips is not the seller of that flight. We do not hold your ticket, issue your boarding pass, process your airline payment or control your booking. Questions about a booking should therefore normally be directed to the company from which you purchased the ticket.

18. Affiliate links and commercial relationships

Some links on Exdatrips may be affiliate links or other commercial referral links. Where this applies, we may receive a commission or other compensation if you make a purchase or booking through a link. This does not necessarily increase the price you pay.

Where required, we will disclose relevant commercial relationships. Our aim is to provide useful flight-discovery information regardless of whether a particular link generates compensation.

19. No endorsement of airlines

The appearance of an airline, airport, route or flight on Exdatrips does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of that airline, flight or airport. We may display opportunities from multiple airlines based on available data. Airlines are responsible for their own services.

20. Availability of the website

We do not guarantee that Exdatrips will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party failures, hosting problems, data-source outages, API failures, internet problems, cybersecurity incidents or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

21. Data and automated systems

Some information on Exdatrips may be collected, processed, calculated, ranked or displayed using automated systems, which may occasionally produce errors.

A numerical score, ranking, recommendation or “best” designation is an informational assessment based on our methodology and available data. It is not personalised travel advice and is not a guarantee that one itinerary is objectively better for every traveller.

22. “Cheapest”, “best” and similar claims

Where we describe an EDT as “cheapest”, “best value”, “best”, “lowest price” or similar, the statement refers to the relevant data and comparison set available to us at the time of calculation.

It does not necessarily mean that the same flight is the cheapest price available anywhere on the internet. A price may also change after the comparison was made.

23. No professional advice

Information provided by Exdatrips is general travel information. It is not legal, immigration, financial, medical, insurance or personalised travel advice. You should obtain appropriate professional or official advice where necessary.

24. User responsibility

You agree to use Exdatrips responsibly and not to:

• Attempt to interfere with the website
• Circumvent security measures
• Scrape or overload the service in a manner that causes disruption
• Use automated systems in violation of applicable laws or third-party terms
• Introduce malicious software
• Attempt unauthorised access
• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Misrepresent information obtained from the service

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties.

25. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Exdatrips website, branding, design, original text, graphics, software, databases, methodology and other original content are owned by or licensed to Exdatrips.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, copy, republish, commercially exploit or systematically extract substantial portions of our content or database without permission. Flight information itself may belong to the relevant airlines or data providers and remains subject to their respective rights and terms.

26. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, nothing here is intended to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above and to applicable law, we will not be responsible for losses arising from: changes to flight prices or availability; flight cancellations, delays or schedule changes; missed flights or connections; airport transfers; travel disruption; airline or booking-provider actions or failures; incorrect or outdated third-party information; travel documentation, visa or entry problems; changes to travel restrictions; your failure to verify information before booking or travelling; your failure to allow sufficient time for airport procedures; or your use of information displayed on the website.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation. Nothing in these Terms affects rights or remedies that you cannot legally waive.

27. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if Exdatrips is found liable for a loss arising from your use of the service, our liability will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law and, where legally permissible, to the reasonable direct loss actually caused by our breach.

Nothing in this section removes or restricts mandatory consumer protections.

28. Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include, without limitation, natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, strikes, industrial disputes, airport closures, air-traffic restrictions, telecommunications failures, internet outages, hosting failures, API failures, airline system failures, cyberattacks and third-party service failures.

This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded.

29. Changes to information

Information on the website may change without notice. We may update, correct, remove or replace flight information, prices, routes, destinations, scores, methodology and other content at any time.

A previous version of information should not be relied upon as evidence that a flight or price remains available.

30. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.

Your continued use of the website after updated Terms have been published may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

31. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. These Terms & Conditions should be read together with our Privacy Policy and any other applicable policies published on the website.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

33. No waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.

34. Governing law

These Terms and your use of Exdatrips shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be excluded by this choice of law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
