- Nyhavn by 11, home before midnight
The metro from the airport is so quick that you’re in the city before you know it. Coffee in Nyhavn, Rosenborg, lunch at Torvehallerne and a long walk around Christianshavn.
- Must see
- The Round Tower view
- Not worth the time
- Paying for the Little Mermaid queue
- I’ll come back
- Yes
Fiona · travelled September 2026 Recommends - Easiest EDT we’ve done
Short transfer, lots of time in the city and a cheap fare. Hired bikes for the afternoon, which was the best decision of the day.
- Must see
- Bikes along the harbour
- I’ll come back
- Yes
Ross · travelled August 2026 Recommends - Pricey city, cheap day
Food and drink are expensive, but with no hotel the whole day still cost less than a night out in Edinburgh. Pack a snack for the late flight.
- Must see
- Torvehallerne food hall
- Not worth the time
- Strøget shops
- I’ll come back
- Yes
