- Canals, cheese and home for tea
The train from Schiphol is quick and runs all the time. We did the Jordaan, a canal boat and the Rijksmuseum garden, and were back in Manchester before ten.

Great day, but the big museums sell out, so book a time slot before you fly. Leaving the city at 18:40 felt early, but Schiphol was busy.
